Os &oacute;rg&atilde;os end&oacute;crinos podem ser divididos em:&nbsp;<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>&Oacute;rg&atilde;os que cont&ecirc;m apenas c&eacute;lulas end&oacute;crinas<\/strong>:\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Hip&oacute;fise<\/strong>, na base do c&eacute;rebro;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gl&acirc;ndula pineal<\/strong>, no teto do dienc&eacute;falo;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gl&acirc;ndulas tireoide e paratireoide<\/strong>, no pesco&ccedil;o; e&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gl&acirc;ndulas suprarrenais<\/strong>, nos rins, que cont&ecirc;m duas regi&otilde;es end&oacute;crinas distintas: o <strong>c&oacute;rtex da gl&acirc;ndula suprarrenal<\/strong> e a <strong>medula da gl&acirc;ndula suprarrenal<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>&Oacute;rg&atilde;os que cont&ecirc;m uma grande parcela de c&eacute;lulas end&oacute;crinas<\/strong>:\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>P&acirc;ncreas<\/strong>: possui fun&ccedil;&otilde;es end&oacute;crinas e digest&oacute;rias;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Timo<\/strong>: possui fun&ccedil;&otilde;es end&oacute;crinas e atua no sistema imune;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>G&ocirc;nadas<\/strong>: no sistema genital; e<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hipot&aacute;lamo<\/strong>: no sistema nervoso, considerado um &oacute;rg&atilde;o neuroend&oacute;crino.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>&Oacute;rg&atilde;os que cont&ecirc;m algumas c&eacute;lulas end&oacute;crinas<\/strong>: al&eacute;m dos &oacute;rg&atilde;os principais do sistema end&oacute;crino, h&aacute; diversos &oacute;rg&atilde;os que cont&ecirc;m c&eacute;lulas secretoras de horm&ocirc;nios. Nas mulheres, estimula a matura&ccedil;&atilde;o do fol&iacute;culo ovariano e a produ&ccedil;&atilde;o de estrog&ecirc;nio e, nos homens, estimula a produ&ccedil;&atilde;o de espermatozoides;<\/li>\n<\/ul><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Horm&ocirc;nio luteinizante (LH)<\/strong>: atua nos ov&aacute;rio e test&iacute;culos.
